Mark has been a clinician and leader in the natural medicine professions for 23 years. While extensively working from his clinical practice 'Master Healthcare' he has also worked in the corporate, governance and educational sectors of the natural medicine professions.
This work has included a long-term engagement as the National Head of School of the Australian College of Natural Medicine / Endeavour College of Natural Health Bachelor Health Science programs. The role included, but was not limited to, several years of curriculum development, management and teaching into the Naturopathy, Nutrition Medicine and Herbal Medicine programs before transitioning into a commensurate role responsible for the Chinese Medicine program specializing in Acupuncture.
In addition, Mark has also actively engaged with the premium professional body known as the Australian Natural Therapist Association (ANTA). These roles have seen Mark not only take a director’s role with the organization, but also serve as a continuing professional educator at many of the national seminars presented throughout Australia from 2006-2022.
Our Practice
Established in 2007 Master Healthcare has quickly established itself as a premier leader in the provision of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Naturopathic, Herbal and Nutritional Medicine to the southeast Queensland community.
Practice principal Dr Mark Shoring [Chinese medicine practitioner] has long standing experience that is bolstered by extensive undergraduate and postgraduate training in the delivery of our services. Our approach is to provide a highly professional, safe and outcome focused treatment that alleviates the presenting complaint and any underlying concerns that are preventing optimal health and function.
